ShedCraft have a magnificent range of cubby houses and forts that will entertain your children for hours. Monkey Bars and Swings are also available. With interesting features and styles, our playgrounds will inspire exploration and creativity.
You can add an elevation to your cubby which opens up lots of other possibilities including a slide, a scramble net, a fireman’s pole or a rock wall. There is also the possibility of adding a connecting bridge to another cubby allowing you to build your own adventure playground. A cubby and a fort is a winning combination.
All of our cubby houses and forts are made with the highest quality treated pine, which complies with AS 1604 to ensure a safe and environmentally friendly play area. They are durable and designed to withstand even the harshest conditions. We are proud to be part of the local team designing and building children's play equipment.
All óf our cubby houses and forts come in pre-assembled panels with detailed installation instructions, making installation easy. We also provide a full delivery and installation service. If you do require help with installation then we do offer this service to a number of major areas including Melbourne, Adelaide, Sydney, Canberra, Geelong, Ballarat and Bendigo. Custom designs are also available.

The HutThe Hut
The Hut is our most popular cubby house – a compact cubby that provides enough room for your kids to run around in while also not taking up too much space in your backyard. It creates a great environment within the safe confines of your backyard to keep them active and healthy. Consider staining The Hut for a darker finish or alternatively why not paint it brighten up the backyard! If you want to create an adventurous playground consider adding an elevation in which items such as slides, scramble nets and rock walls can be added. Alternatively, a café servery will keep their imagination ticking over as they play shops. There are so many options to choose from.

Jungle FortJUNGLE FORT
The Jungle Fort is a great outdoor entertainment unit for the children. You can choose to install the fort on to the ground or alternatively add an elevation that will open up a world of possibilities. Once an elevation is included you can look at adding features such as a slide, scramble net and a rock wall. This playground will keep your children entertained for days!
All of our forts come as raw, quality treated pine. There is the option to upgrade the unit to be stained or alternatively why not paint the fort your favourite colours. Keep your kids active and healthy by adding a fort to your backyard!

Beach ShackBEACH SHACK
The Beach Shack can be tucked into your backyard. Without the verandah the facus is the cubby. A café servery is a great idea for these types of cubbies as one of the walls can be transformed into a realistic shopping experience!

All AbilitiesSpecial Needs
A great accessible cubby means kids of any age and or with special needs can be active and join in the fun.
The gable has a 850mm wide door and window opening onto a 1280mm deep verandah. The one meter long ramp can also be positioned on either side. Please nominate the position required at time of order.
While our cubbies come as raw, quality treated pine, there is the option to stain the cubby to create a darker finish. Alternatively they are great to spend a day painting your favourite colours to brighten up the backyard.

TIMBER OPTIONS
Natural Treated Pine
The treated pine may initially have a greenish tinge. This is normal and is a result of the treating process. Over time the pine will fade into a greyish colour. It is possible to paint the boards. Check with your local paint shop.

In ground elevation only. Supplied with a set of steps. Posts are 600mm longer so they can be dug into the ground and concreted in place. Posts can be trimmed to height to suit uneven ground.

INSTALLATION
ShedCraft Installation
ShedCraft can arrange for your full installation work. Please select the cubby or fort, map out the options and then discuss with us. We will prepare a full quotation including delivery and installation.
DIY Installation
For the DIY enthusiast, our cubby houses and forts are the easiest and best product on the market. All of our cubbies come in pre-made walls and roofs and you only need to screw together the separate panels using a cordless drill and your cubby house will be assembled in no time! Please ensure the ground is flat and level prior to erecting your cubby house. There are a great range of videos and notes to help guide you through the installation process on our website and SteelChief's website.

SITE PREPARATION
Our cubby houses can be installed directly onto the ground, however we do stress that the ground is completely flat and level with a layer of compacted crushed rock. If you are looking to install an elevated cubby house and want to concrete the posts into the ground then please follow the instructions supplied with your cubby and online. If there are any queries please call us before you commence installation.
We do offer site preparation and concreting services.
